it's true, it got removed because it was bugging out (and even before then the index was pretty incomplete) - it'll get readded eventually but there's a bunch of stuff with higher priority (still working on recoding the entire site, getting it php7 ready and just in general much more maintainable - progress is going good though, you can check the footer of each page to see if it's a new page or not.) so it might be a while, the fact that even at it's peak performance, google tended to be better doesn't help that case much. turns out search is pretty complex if you want to do it well!

LMS:I have a notion to support this motion. He could be set to appear on a random day every month.

(Is that a legitimate rule? Because I can't find evidence of it outside of this post.)

it used to be one, but the first person to reach 5000 requested for the rule to be removed to ruin it for everyone else

it shows up fine for me, what browser are you using? are you sure it's not just an issue of it not loading/being blocked out by something else?

honestly, does anyone ACTUALLY know how a computer works? i mean people always be talking about how silicon's kinda funky with the way it conducts electricity, but if i combine oxygen and hydrogen in a room, and it explodes into a buncha water, how are you gonna tell me that's not magic? magic exists, we just wrote it all down and made it boring

yeah but like, the leave comment form doesn't actually have a hardcoded width to begin with.

e: you specify a width of 500 on your iframe. are you sure that isn't just the problem?

Robotwin.com:Hmm. You might be able to parse the contents of the iFrame with JavaScript, and then locate and extract the hidden token for your custom form.

Maybe starting with something like this:
document.getElementById('MyIFrame').contentWindow.document.body

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/16589306/get-data-from-iframe

that doesn't work. if it did, you could manipulate any form and perform arbitrary actions as other users. in fact, it's explicitly blocked (through the aforementioned token) because it would allow you to submit comments as other users using javascript.

I'm all for making the form work with this, but i can't actually replicate the problem on my chrome (or more accurately chromium, although i doubt that has anything to do with it)

i can stretch e.g. this link as small as i like, and it resizes it

those aren't set as default because it can lead to comicfury.com URLs linking to external sites, if someone pulls their domain from their comic. i do manually enable it as the default domain if people really want it, and pinky-promise me that they'll tell me before pulling their domains from their comics, but i don't really love doing it because usually by that time people forget about it and then end up not doing it.

killersteak:okay. thats consistent.

it's dealing with things once they become a problem rather than being overly restrictive. obviously i wouldn't ban anyone without warning for a shitpost thread in med ave.
