I got my second covid shot four days ago. I've been feeling tired but otherwise ok. Today I walked around three miles doing errands. I'm a bit more tired than usual, but I'm getting back to what passes for normal for me.
My next door neighbors hired me to mow their yard. It hadn't been done for several months, so the grass was so tall that they were getting complaints. As I was working on it a yard crew pulled up to work on the rental on the other side of my place. They pulled out an awesome professional riding mower that made me embarrassed about my little turn of the century mower. The guy mowed the front yard over there and then offered to mow the main part of the front yard I was working on! Just because he's a nice guy! Later the neighbor came home for lunch and told me that he used to do yard work for a living and judging by the height of the back yard, I wasn't charging enough. He's promised to give me a bonus!
I haven't read your comic, but based on this page alone, I'm really impressed. I already feel like I know the characters. The expressions and body language are excellent. So is the line work and the coloring, not to mention those beautiful backgrounds! All that detail and you've managed to keep it from distracting from the figures. Bravo!
I'm a little bit intimidated, but here's the latest page of my comic for you to eviscerate.
The kids are in page three of a cow pie fight. Cow Pies 3
This is a lot of fun! Thank YOU! I don't mean to hog the thread but imagining how my characters would react and sketching it out quickly is a great warm-up exercise for me. It's kind of like my Delacroix to my Ingres, if you know what I mean.
@jmluvsbob, Sorry if I put you under pressure, but you'll have two boys and a dragon to deal with. :D They might call Betty over too if I do another one before you do.
