I'll be honest, I have no idea how to smile.

Someone recently demanded that I try, and this is what happened: Awkwaaaaaard.

Looks like I'm trying not to show that I'm holding in a really painful fart.

Hmm... the new guy probably should keep his yap shut (since, y'know, nobody cares), but I've actually got my story roughed out for the next 8 months minimum (depending on filler/off-story strips).

Kind of simple, since it's basically just a dramatized/unorganized retelling of my life up until now, but I noticed that the more I wrote and changed things up, the less the story seemed dependent on how I remember the events I'm writing about. I'm actually kind of excited for the time where I have to start thinking more from the character's perspective and not from my own, but that's some serious spoiler alert territory.

Also, someone/many someones rated almost all of my current comics at a 5 my first night here. Pretty awesome, whoever that/they were.

Here's a blanket, here's some food stamps, here's some HIV injections.

Wait, is that an injection against HIV, or of HIV?!

That's the fun part! I don't know! :D

Everyone loves a mystery!

Oh myyyyyy.

I tend to be wordy, it's a problem.

Kupocake:Welcome to CF! Wherever you're refuging from, you're welcome here. :D

Oh, the old days of the internet. My desktop ran one of the first versions of Red Hat at the time. Jesus.

Dear sweet Fry, I used to have Red Hat on partition on my old IBM Thinkpad before they went public. My e-hipster days of refusing to use software from a publicly traded company...

... so types the guy using Win7 with a languishing Ubuntu partition.

Also, yours is officially the first comic I've subscribed to on CF. It's awesome at only 6 pages, made me "Awww..." when I noticed how recently it started.

I've always felt like the "standard" 500x90 was pretty optimal, and it only makes the browser on my phone rage momentarily.

Nah, not really, I'm actually pretty frellin' pleased to be here, it's just fun to play on that whole "mediocre" theme of mine!

Hey all, I'm J (or Jay, if you'd rather not contribute to the douchery of my going by a letter) and after unBELIEVABLE amounts of fighting with a certain other comic hosting/community which shall remain unnamed, the ease and friendliness of this place is extremely refreshing.

I'm a bit of an old-time web denizen (well, by internet standards of time) who spends FAR too much time watching movies and independent web-based content. I'm also pretty handy when it comes to the physical portion of computers, comes with years of working in electronics repair and PC diagnostics.

I don't really use any IM programs, nor do I participate in a whole lot of online communities (other than a few on Steam, where I'm pretty much a constant presence).

I've been reading comics for as long as I can remember, spent a few years working in advertisement design, and have been an avid artist/writer (more so on the latter, I love to write young adult short-stories) since I was old enough to lift a pencil.

So, yeah. Hey.
