Problem at the moment - It's not like CF is not working, but at the moment I've had about 20 mins of slow - from about 7.20-7.40pm GMT, and I can't upload a strip.

Edit: But now it has finally done it at 7.44pm GMT. Yey. It kept getting stuck at 38% uploaded before.

Hey! I've just noticed that the time (set to GMT) is now an hour behind the UK (which has recently changed to winter time). Shall we live with this because it's not worth changing every 6 months, or is it a bug?

I don't really mind as long as I know what to set the time to.

I like the on-off eyes on the cat. As someone once said, it's not a bug, it's a feature. :)
Also I think the gag-a-day, layout, characters and design is very good!

The boat on waves background image is also great!

The strip size sometimes makes some text hard to read small though. Maybe making the standard strip size 50 pixels bigger either side might make it more comfortable. Though I just looked back over the strips and it's ok - maybe I was on a different computer before?

All in all I think it's a good comic. Getting a bit political in the last few strips :)

DreamSanguine:That is odd. I tried the setting on my comic--you're right. I get the same error. Sorry, that's as much as I know on the matter. :p We'll have to wait for staff to reply to the thread.

Add: Since I think Kyo's still really busy, one way to edit an existing author comment is to enable comments temporarily, and then disable it after making the necessary edit. :) Have a nice day.

No probs - thanks for your help!

But it gives me an error message that I have user comments disabled!

And also, what do I do if I deleted an author comment or want to add one to an existing strip? Would I have to delete the entire strip and resubmit all the info?

I disabled all comments on my comic, but sometimes I'll post author comments. And sometimes I would like to edit them. When I go to Edit Strips I don't have the author comment field. I've looked on webcomic management but can't find it. Where can it be?

Thanks Cyborg!
I don't know why it was taking me to ComicFury home, in my html editor I had <img src="[l:avatar]" alt="[l:authorname]" />. And I put .avatar and .authorname in the CSS. I'll have a look at this later.

I made a temporary fix. Now, in all browsers, I have:

Posted by Dasha at 29th Jun 2010, 2:17 AM

For which the code is (from Author Blog HTML):

<div class="archivecontent">
	<!--loop:[blogs]-->
		<div>
			<div class="archiveheader">[l:blogtitle]</div>
			<span class="archiveleft">
				Posted by <a href "http://comicfury.com/profile.php?username=Protagonist">Dasha</a>&nbsp</span>at <span class="blogpostdate">[l:posttime]</span>

			<div class="archiveright">
				[l:blog]
			</div>
			<div class="clearfix2"></div>
		</div>
	<!--end_loop:[blogs]-->
	</div>

For some reson, the link to my profile doesn't work and instead links to the same page I'm on - the Author Blog. I'll keep playing with it, unless there is something obvious that I'm not seeing.

Thanks again!

Hi guys,

I've been fiddling with the features on the Rainbow Tables theme and set up a blog. But the Author Name, while visible in Firefox, for some reason does not come up in Chrome or IE browsers.

This is the relevant bit of my code on the Blog page (I think), using View Page Source:

<div class="archiveleft"><img src="http://comicfury.com/" alt="Dasha" class="avatar" /></div>

So the 'Dasha' is visible in Firefox but not in the other browsers. Can I do something to fix it?

(Also you have an awesome site & service here. Sorry that my first post is about a problem.)
