I use Google analytics on Brunoharm.com, and it does show all the bot traffic. I'd rather enjoy the illusion here ;)

I have wondered about this. I'm getting 30-40+ visitors a day, and while I'd like to believe my content is garnering this attention, I am dubious, especially with the long gaps between updates. I've also noticed that there's a smaller spike in visitors on update days when compared to daily traffic then there used to be. I used to swing from 20 to 60+, now it's like 40 to 60+. I don't know what to make of it.

I've read all kinds of random stuff on the internet falling on both sides of the issue. What do you think? can your partner cheat on you without having sex? where's the line? should there be more boundaries on a friendship if it's someone you could potentially be attracted to?

If you are polyamorous, this might not apply, because I'm talking about monogamous relationships.

If your partner feels threatened by the friendship, what should your responsibility be? do what you want, because you did nothing wrong? Put a pause on the friendship to make sure your partner is ok? something in between?

I don't think ratings matter too much on comic fury. They aren't overly visible on the site, and there are other factors that matter way more.
Webtoons however, I believe the rating system is a way to jockey for position as it's so noticeable on the site. I've got a 5 rating here, and I don't think a lot of people pay it any mind, while on webtoons I have a 5 and some change out of 10, and I get very little traction there (I'm not really their style). The bad stats are front and center and kind of create a downward spiral.
Reddit is another place where people tend to knock you down to raise their own status. The downvotes are infuriating. Anyway, if you think the Comic Fury rating is detrimental to your comic, remove the ratings. I wish I could do that on webtoons.

The twinkie is an acquired taste. If you weren't raised on petroleum biproducts and cornsyrup, your palette might not be ready for twinkies or EZ cheese. you can work your way up with like a whole grain pasta drizzled in melted Velveeta "cheese", maybe a salad with a sprinkle of "bacon bitz" and ranch dressing. Before you know it you'll be sipping a Zima malt liquor beverage, flavored with a watermelon "Jolly Rancher", packing a lunch with Moon Pies and an RC cola, and eating Tacos with shells made out of Doritoes instead of tortillas.

I sub comics I like, even if I can't keep up with them, or it's not really my thing. I mean I only sub things that I PLAN to read, but I don't really keep up with all of the comics I sub. It's too much. I like to stumble across something I forgot about and read a little more of it. I never Unsub. I don't see the point. Unless they radically changed what they were doing to the point that I found it offensive... but that has yet to happen. I tend to read shorter things that are in my favorite genres, but I like all kinds of comics and I appreciate good art and story telling, even when it's not my cuppa tea.

Welcome to the CF!

here's some ice breakers:

-What's your plan for surviving a zombie invasion?
-What's your go to song when you feel like singing?
-What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theaters?
-What's your favorite dance, even if you can't do it yourself?

I think people are overlooking the old fashioned merchandise approach. If people really like your comic, they would love a T-shirt or coffee mug, or to own a paperback comic to hold in their hands, maybe even hardbound. I'd rather buy a book than give to Patreon. Also, adds don't bother me as long as they aren't obnoxious screen blockers.

I jest, but that does suck. Is the comic really popular? I don't understand trolling a free webcomic. Especially when the person is most likely making the comic for no money. If you don't like it, find something else. Who has time for this? I hope you figure out how to can this guy.

I've had almost zero comments on Webtoons. I don't know how to report people. You want to invite them to harass me? I could use the company ;)

Also, MRA? is that a new thing? first I've heard of it. Of course I just learned about InCels, so I'm not exactly "in the know".

I want to say Kindle has a comic making program too. Not sure what it does exactly. I use photoshop as mentioned above.

I'm a 1/4 Japanese, but the Irish in me covers it up pretty good, so I've never really been asked where I'm from, except in Japan where everyone that's not 100% Japanese is definitely not from there. I feel like the more comfortable people are, the more likely you are to get asked things like this. Either there's enough diversity that people don't think it's a big deal, or there's so little that there's no precedent for behavior. I've lived in Richmond Virginia most of my life. There's a pretty good racial mix there, and tensions are high, so people are sensitive. I don't hear people asking much (of course I'm white so what do I know). Conversely, when living in Washington state I saw almost no black people, and I would hear strange stuff that seemed kind of racist and no one would bat an eye, Like black people are better at basketball because they have more leg muscles than whites...! Grant it, I worked construction, and people at say, UW might be better informed and/or more sensitive, but as a generalization of the average joe.
Where I live now, VA Beach, we get a lot of eastern Europeans here, especially in the summertime(haven't figured out why exactly). And I've asked where some people with Russian like accents where they are from, but only when I've gotten to know them, like my son's piano teacher. Definitely not the first question out of the gate.

I was pondering the line of fidelity and infidelity. Friendship and infatuation. and how my wife's new best friend rather reminds me of a young Charlie Manson.
