To be fair, warmer Southern states don't have the infrastructure to deal with "real" winter weather and things could get pretty bad for them quickly. They don't have the manpower that Northern states have when it comes to dealing with snow and ice on the roads, as evidenced by the 133-car pileup that took place in Fort Worth a few days ago.
As someone who lives in the South, I can confirm this. At least we get school off when it snows.
In other news, it's so cold here that it snowed here last week (I currently live in the mountains). Most of the time it's just been cold and rainy :'3
Most of my old (old as in pre-2017) concept art and stories for Mind Your Magic are now long gone. All that's left is a concept sketch of an old version of a character (Frida the fennec fox, who was originally going to be a chihuahua named Dallas), which I still have in a folder full of old high school doodles somewhere (probably back in my apartment).
Despite almost all of proto-Mind Your Magic being long gone, I can still remember slightly what it used to be like and all that. That seems to be a pattern I see in all my pre-2016 projects, since younger me was very fond of throwing away things without any thought :'3.
The long-forgotten mockumentary The Compleat Al, but not for the reasons you would think. I mostly find it amusing about how different Weird Al is now compared to the 80s', and the movie is still a interesting look at the culture at the time.
On a less positive note, the Drawn Together movie. I hated that movie when I watched it as a 13 year old due to how disgusting it was in my eyes, even for my Newgrounds-frequenting grossout-humor-loving ass at the time. I still hate it now not only for how my tastes have changed, but for how cheap the production value is and how shallow and disgusting the jokes and references are.
1. The Munchables (Wii)
2. Drawn to Life (DS)
3. Frost Bite (PC/Browser)
4. Atlantis Squarepantis (DS)
5. Hot Air 2 (PC/Browser)
I didn't have a lot of console or handheld games back in the day. Most of my nostalgic game memories came from hours and hours of playing whatever obscure browser and/or iPhone game I could find. I just listed the ones that people might be able to recognize.
I'm not sure how fully dressed you want the cats to be in the comic itself (Mary and Corrie have only accessories and Nimmy wears shorts), but if you want to give them a full outfit, Marilyn would wear anything goth and/or punk, Corrie would wear a lot of pinks and whites, and Nimmy would wear anything that was lying around and wouldn't give a hoot about fashion.
I am subscribed to at around 20-27 webcomics (exact number unknown), of which less than half are inactive or ended. I also organize my comics semi-regularly, mostly removing any inactive comics and subscribing to new ones that have taken my fancy; it's probably the reason why I can't keep an exact number of comics that I read on a regular basis :P
