I realized that for me, focusing on completing the creative project works best. Maybe I'll take it to market when it's done, or seems to interest enough people, but until then I have to focus on finishing the damn thing.
I agree, biffboff. I haven't read CF's latest TOS so maybe this is moot. The partnership with CR should be (already is?) described right up front there as a CF feature so that when artists post their comics, they are aware that a second party, CR, is scraping it all up also.
I remember the first thread about this but it's not an issue I've been closely following since then so I can't remember the whole deal. CR doesn't impact me-- 0 hits and 3 subs; CR seems ok, I just wish it actually was doing more for SNW, that would be awesome. Yesterday, I emailed CR and Andy helpfully replied today. Just posting as an fyi.
>>Comic Rocket only links to its pages so that Comic Rocket users can keep track of where they are when they read the comic.
Comic Rocket has a deal with ComicFury so that we can index all of the comics hosted there. The information is passed to us automatically.

Thanks for your reply. I understand. Am I understanding correctly
then-- is it like all ComicFury comics are automatically indexed then?
If I post on CF then it will ipso facto appear with CR frame. Just
>>>>That's pretty much it. Once a day we get automatic updates from CF about all of their pages so that we can keep our link database up to date. What our frame does is keep track of the links but the site still displays your actual ComicFury page so you still get all of the traffic, etc.
Thanks for this thread. I decided to delete my comic from CR. Huh, fancy that-- there's no delete button (let me know if I missed it,plz). I just sent an email request to remove my comic immediately; let's see how long it takes.
Jane the Virgin, a telenovela-inspired new dramedy on the CW, premiered on Monday garnering plenty of positive reviews. It centers on 23-year-old virgin, Jane, who promises her abuela she won’t have sex till marriage, and how she ends up accidentally artificially inseminated when she goes in for a routine pap smear. I admit I was skeptical of the plot and was afraid it was going to rely on tired tropes but it turns out it was actually a cute show with a lot of heart. It even has queer women in it!
