Didn't know about the Delta-V for Mars. But I would think a permanent base on the Moon would provide so much. It's close. It has Water! Even with 14 day nights power should be easy. We could manufacture craft on sight using local material. Even use a catapult to launch which would save a lot of fuel for later.

I still remember watching it on TV. I was almost 10. Don't tell me it didn't happen!

I just want to know why we stopped. Where are our MOON BASES!?!

I'm old enough to remember the first moon walk. Made my parents let me watch it on TV. Not hard there was no school.

Do the math. I ain't had my birthday yet but it's close.
