We could definitely do a subthread for LGBTQ issues! I'd like there to be a place where we can ask 'hey, what's a fun place for teenagers in Tokyo' or 'hey, what do you usually have for breakfast in England?' and get an answer from someone who lives/has lived there and really knows. That could DEFINITELY expand into LGBTQ issues and how it feels to really live things like that moment when you casually mention you're bi and somebody spits out their drink ( I totally did that to somebody). These are simple examples, but if we can make a start and keep improving, isn't that better than nothing?

Hi folks,
I've decided to throw out an idea that's been on my mind for a while in the hopes of getting ideas that might help it happen.
We talk a lot as an industry (or hobby) about cultural appropriation and how terrible it is, but not a lot about how to REALLY avoid it outside of 'be careful'. Thing is, a young or novice creative person often doesn't know who to ask or whether the information they've researched is usable.
I'd like to find ways to fix that. I'd really like to either create or help with something based on Script Doctor: people with cultural questions could post them and get either straight answers from folks in that culture or solid resources to read. What do people think? How could this work best? Would folks be interested in signing up to answer questions from their backgrounds?

If the idea of drawing a city where the sun never rises, a kitsune born in the Bayou, a lot of black magic, blood and black humor appeals to you, drop me a PM. The first chapter is written and The Betwixt awaits an artist ready to bring it to life.

The Betwixt is a dark, nebulous midnight crossroads between worlds. There are things you aren't supposed to do according to the laws of society, reality, morality and physics. The Betwixt is the place you go to do them anyway. Picture a metropolitan center at midnight, then take away the laws and add a lot more neon lights. That's the Betwixt.
In the Betwixt the mad, the depraved and the magical are all part of a normal night. Magic and science blend, fight and mix like a pride of cats. Gods, monsters, men and those in between share the streets. Shops selling everything from books that read you to the meat of humans and imaginary creatures line the streets, jostling for room with bars and nightclubs and brothels that never close. Travelers in time slip in and out, and travelers from worlds that might have been, from across the galaxy or across the dimensions, and from places that never were visit regularly. If you've seen it in a movie or dreamed about it, you might end up sitting next to it on a bar stool in the Betwixt, right down from the two vampire teens having a date night and sticking two straws in a live goat. It's a teeming, wild, magical, deadly place. People go there to escape, to have something they know they shouldn't, to do things that are forbidden. And some poor sods just go there because it's the only place where they can be themselves. Anything can happen here, and does.

Thanks for the advice! And thanks for the compliment; this is set in a really weird quasi-otherworld, so I want it to look trippy :)

So, my stats were low on my big update day and then a reader PM'd me to say that Comicfury had not announced the update! Apperently the site hasn't been announcing my site updates. Has anyone had this issue? What do I do?
*note: I've gotten no complaints from the mod so no, that is not the problem.

Thank you so much for doing this! I'm trying to learn DAZ, but the learning curve hurts. For example, I spent a few hours building a character I liked, saved him, went back the next day and opened him....and all his mods (clothes hair ect) were gone. That was enough of a frustration to make me say screw it for the day!
