Sometimes I am so far out of the loop it's crazy.

Great idea and the posts so far in the comic are fantastic.

Wish I had seen this thread in time to be part of all of this.

Oh well, it's fun to see and read.

InkDolls:From the new comic I'll be starting sometime soon. The watermark doesn't mean that's where I'll post it.

Loved your Inkdolls comic. Is it updating again (as the banner states)?

Where can it be found?

Let us know when the new one is up too.

The fact that she forgot her shirt and yet somehow remembered her majorette hat and baton would be quite funny.

The baton is important.

Anyone do comiccons?

There are two going on that are pretty close to me one weekend apart.

http://www.independentcreatorsconnection.com/2015/05/12/icc-convention-update/

http://tampabaycomiccon.com/

Was going to the one in Orlando, but my finances might not support that.

The one in Tampa is right across the bay. Any of you folks going to either?

On a side note: Can I just go to one of these and wing it - or - is there some sort of etiquette (or rules) I should know about?

Centcomm:I was thinking of responding to the last two comments but really cant come up with anything that doesn't sound defensive as all get out. So im just not going to try.

Sorry, I did not intend to click on the dislike icon. This is why I don't venture into the forums much, I press things, etc that I do not mean too.

Hate that saying. Makes me older than I am. "Your only as old as you ACT." Is much better.

droidsteel:Art isn't like sport, it's never to late too do it (until maybe after you die).

You know I had no idea there were so many people on here who aren't twenty-somethings.

- Maybe when you die your spirit draws pictures in the clouds.

- Me neither, there are quite a few of the above 30 here.

DeadFish:She'd rather have me sit like a zombie in front of the TV in the living room with her, wasting time watching crap and/or playing card games with the kids than leave me alone doing my thing a couple of hours.

Can you sit there and draw? Might make every one happy.

Will be fifty next birthday.

Been drawing comix all my life. Or at least since I could hold a crayon.

I do it because it is fun, it releases my urge to be creative, and because I just HAVE to.

Only found web comics a couple of years ago. Comic Fury and sites like this fulfil a lot of this and add community. Love reading and interacting with other comic creaters.

Merged Doublepost:

LauraEss:I posted this on another thread today, and it's correct for the 18th (the date when I'm posting

Happy belated birthday ;)

Ninabird:Just wondering whether other people (like me) always struggle with the same bits of anatomy.

Feet. Hate doing bare feet. Some times I manage, sometimes I'm lucky. Sometimes not.

Ninabird: Do you find yourself "cheating" and covering those parts up somehow or conveniently placing speech bubbles or cutting off a panel in just the right place?

Yes I do. All the time.

Of course now I'm doing a second comic so she can add her ideas to it. =)

That's a great idea! Something you can do together not only helps her understand but will be one thing you have that's both of yours.

That's a more than fair review if not overly nice.

Points taken.

You can review my comic if you like. Please be gentle but honest. I do it out of love but know it would be better if say like a writer was involved.

In the summer I go into a pub to hide from the heat.

In the winter I go into a pub to hide from the cold.

There might be a common thread there....

Unka John:I'm glad of the flag system and plan to use all 4 even if none of the 4 elements are present. Keeps a certain element away.

It warns off those who might be offended.

It allows creative freedom.

As I understand it, midgets are okay if they are adults and don't pretend to be anything different.
