The experiment had gone well. Many people who may have otherwise never interacted were thrown into the same environment by whatever means, and spawned a great many successes, but also an equal number of failures.

Things were moving just as planned, and though hiccups had occurred, the tournament ran on smoothly.

And eventually, things began to draw to a close.

Combatants began to wrap up their fights.

And they fully believed that was it--they were done. They'd be going home.

...Not so fast.

No...their misery was not yet over.

For, now, they were going back into the battlefields.

Some cherish the thought, some are paralyzed by trepidation. But the fact remains, they were there, and they would fight.

Again.

...Though this time...things would be different.

The fights would not be the same.

This time, things would be more intense, with combatants not chosen on ability, but rather, personality.

And the fights would be harder, faster, and far more brutal.

This is...Round Two.

And the battle is about to begin.

Opening flavor aside, please note that there are some important limitations:
-Each player may only make ten moves. We don't want to drag battles on forever, so each fight will last no more than ten moves. They can be shorter, of course; the fight ends when the combatants wish it to.

-Deadlines will be more strictly enforced. I realize we're likely to lose a few contestants from this, but the 48-hour rule will be enforced--you MUST at least check in within that timeframe; you are allowed to take longer if you request permission and it is granted.

However, as a courtesy, keep in mind the nature of these comics! The quality isn't supposed to be stellar. The moves can be a piece of junk artwise, or even lack art altogether, but please actually MAKE the moves.
It's okay if you were legitimately busy and need time to draw anything, but if you're taking over 48 hours to draw your move, chances are quite high you're making it too good of a quality. This is not a rule, and as such won't be enforced, but it is a request.

-Depending on how the rounds begin to play out, round three may or may not be influenced by winners and losers*. Keep in mind the definition of that; winning the fight is a good way to win, but not a guarantee of it. Even if round three doesn't end up using winners/losers, treat it as if it did, just in case.
Plus, you really should be, anyway, given as the point of a fight is generally to do what you can to win it. :P

So with that in mind...let's get this party started!

The fights are...

Timothy Kennings (Rollo) versus Rivet! (CynicaIdealist)

Nicholas Parker (ThatPaintLover) versus Huey (Sabrini Fur)
"Ha, you call that an opponent? I eat kids like this for breakfast! Screw this, I'm outta here."

...Err, uh...Substitution:

Nicholas Parker (ThatPaintLover) versus Comicfox!(ComicFox30)

LightStar (Centcomm) versus Sadha! (Barreytor)

Diosa (Rinkel) versus Samantha Smith! (zachdewd)

Scooter (SirUmbreon) versus Nama! (Nama)

Hunter (Deo) versus Neeann! (I-ninja)

...And our last-minute entries...
Dietrich (Ten Penny Officer) versus Trad! (xianyu118)

we also have two late entries voted in!
Hedgehog versus Jeremy Swanson! (Nicholas Ivan Ladendorf)

Stand by shortly for your battle locations to be announced, along with who gets the honor of first move!

This post is reserved for other stuff, including my explanation of the part in the OP I marked with an asterisk.

You might wonder why I have this. It's primarily for three reasons:

EDIT:

Nicolas Parker vs. Comicfox:
LightStar vs. Sadha:

(Please bear with me a little bit; I'm dead tired already, so this will take a while.)

Let's display the lineup on the board, one more time!

Timothy Kennings and Rivet (Rollo and CynicaIdealist) have the Rainbow Dimension*, a Gearfish location!
Timothy Kennings won the cointoss, so Rollo moves first!

Nicholas Parker and ComicFox (ThatPaintLover and ComicFox) have The Void, also known as Inside the Mirror, a Rinkel location!
Nicholas Parker won the cointoss, so ThatPaintLover has rights to the first move!

Light Star and Sadha are to fight on the Destroyed Ruins by order of their creators, Centcomm and Barreytor!
Centcomm won the cointoss, so right to the first move is hers!

Diosa and Samantha Smith have been given a choice in battlefields--the Town Square (a mushroomisland location) or the Demon-Infested Plains (a Ranger location)!
The choice will be made by the first combatant, and as Diosa won the cointoss, choice of scenery is entirely up to Rinkel!

Scooter and Nama get to fight in a generic stereotypical arena! (Inspired by Onecanofsprite.)
The first move is Scooter's, so SirUmbreon is up!

Hunter and Neeann receive as their battlefield the entirety of Ollieville, a LooeyQ location!
Neeann won the cointoss, so I-ninja can make a move!

Dietrich and Trad also have a choice, between The Olympus Offices (an FPB location), or the Infinite White Plain (a MatthewJA location)!
As Dietrich won the coin toss, Ten Penny Officer gets to choose where!

Hedgehogboy and Jeremy Swanson will be fighting in the Town Market Area, a DaMoreFishy location!

Edit: Ten Penny Officer has selected the Infinite White Plain!
Rinkel has chosen the Town Square!

...And with all that said, Let the tournament BEGIN!

*I am aware this was selected before, but the fight it was selected for never actually used it. All other combatants in a fighting zone actually made use of it, albeit only briefly.

And the fighting may now begin!
Sending the PMs out shortly to all contestants.

(Though, reminder--contestants, if they so choose to do so, may forfeit their right to being the first move if they wish for their opponents to make the first move.)

Edit: I believe I sent them out to everyone. Sorry if I missed anyone!

What... exactly is the dimension of rainbows? Is it where Snarlbear takes place, or is it basically the infinite white void, but with more color?

I believe it is where Snarlbear takes place, according to the strips.

Can someone tell me what the "Inside the Mirror" location looks like and what properties it might have? I probably won't be drawing it in my first move, but possibly the next ones.

I see. Does this mean that there is no gravity there? It's not like outer space so I'm assuming there's plenty of air to breath. Are there any sources of light? Should I be concerned whether the fighters can see each other or not?

you would proably have to ask rinkel on the actual spcifics BUT just from her comic - there is Air ( actually Air is proably a non issue ).. gravity is what you make it . it proably adapts itself like a dreamscape . just no objects except what you have .. and no other creatures or stuff..light is a non issue. its probably one of those all peasive lights that doesnt hurt and lights everyone . also im thinking based on her art that each person "glows" and that glow might respond to emotion or intent.. ( and I probably am reading way to much into this .. )

And seeing how well it worked the last time around, Nic starts the figth with the same old Intimidation. Upon realizing that Huey isn't his opponent anymore (or rather that he never was one to begin with) he rephrases his intimidation for his new opponent. If you think you've seen this fox somewhere before then you're not mistaken as it is a direct reference to the awesome webcomic known as Oglaf. It was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw who I'm up against, hence the reference.
