Okay, debate time, folks.

A few months ago I saw in DeviantArt a Yaoi (boyxboy) drawing about two naked Youtubers, the more I was seeing I started to see more drawings of the same nature: Yaoi drawings with celebrities involving nudity. It seemed that it was acceptable in the community, despite I made a thread in DA asking others' opinions on that matter and everyone responded with "ew gross, it's wrong". Well, the drawings don't seem to receive bad reception -probably for the presence of fujoshis, but it doesn't matter.

Of course there are Yuri (girlxgirl) examples on the same subject, only that I've tested on characters in live-action movies. I just tested on two characters from Harry Potter and I found many lewd drawings, even Photoshop montages and they received good reception. However, actresses are not youtubers, actresses can be aware of these kinds of drawings, but youtubers or writers or specific-people-in-Internet can't.

I was planning to make a drawing about two female celebrities, in Yuri form, and naked (probably not explicit), and see what happens if there's some kind of double-standard or something. I mean, if one thing is allowed, the other thing should be allowed, right?

That doesn't mean that I'm gonna draw the ladies on the next door or drawing two friends of mine. I'm talking about people that has much reception on the Internet, very popular people.

The decision is not made yet, I think that it's too crazy, but I wanted to know your thoughts on this, I'm aware that I'm asking a very specific question involving lewd drawings. Maybe I get another perspective.

In my own opinion, I think people ought to learn how to unmarry themselves from that sort of thing. If someone else draws a nude picture of you, or Photoshops nude picture of you, it's not "you." It's someone else's brainchild, it's all in their head. When they put it out there, it isn't exposing you, it's exposing them. If they're cool with that, right on.

I just don't see it as something worth getting upset about. It's one of those things that only has as much power over you as you allow it. Personally, I'd laugh because it couldn't be accurate, and maybe even critique the work for fun. But that sort of thing doesn't bother me, no matter how dark and filthy it might be.

When it comes to real people it's honestly kinda creepy and inappropiate, unless they specifically said it's fine it's best to avoid that. Even shipping real-life people is going too far I feel

I consider it wildly disrespectful to anyone, celebrity or not, if you don't have the subjects' explicit consent.

Straightforward answer: Not cool

On the other hand: Celebrities are a different caste and that's not my opinion, just an observation. When you put your likeness, your avatar, your face or whatever out there enough, it's gonna run into stuff and people are going to riff on it. And of those people might be someone who likes to poke boundaries and then we all learn what's cool and what's not

Well... it's not illegal necessarily, but drawing porn of real human beings seems morally unsound unless that person says they're alright with it. I remember a while back some famous-ish youtubers (I forget who they were) broke up their friendship cuz people were trying to ship them together, drawing porn, writing fic and what-not. Drawing porn of real people is kinda gross, keep that stuff on the Rule 34 site.

Obviously a lot of people fantasize about celebrities, and even talk about it pretty openly, without worrying about explicit consent. I think the three biggest things people should avoid is
-Making public particularly violent or explicit fantasies, especially where that person might come across it (this could be "I like thinking about these two you tubers XXXX" or "I want to XXX this famous actress")
-Sending even fairly mundane sexual thoughts to the celebrity (Seriously. Why do people do this? Don't tell people you get off to them, don't tell people you write dirty fanfic of them, don't tell people you think they should sleep with their friends???)
-Fame of celebrity also makes a difference for me. An international star is probably better insulated than a popular content creator on youtube or tumblr or instagram.
Of course, I think it's pretty important not to just look at this in fandom, where it's mostly young girls, and look at all the other places people do this sort of stuff. Leaking nude photos, lewd photoshops, and forums and youtube comments talking about what they want to do to celebrities are really big problems too.

I once drew a picture of TJ Kirk and Gurgi that was somewhat explicit...but I guess it doesn't fall under creepy because I kind of had permission. I don't know, I don't really care. Is it a weird thing to do if it's two real people, yes. Do I think it should be forbidden, taboo, or illegal? No. *shrugs*

I really don't think it's okay. I mean, people should stop thinking of them as celebrities or youtubers for a moment, and imagine having a conversation with them. They're a human being, and this kind of thing is just gross. I mean, even if they grow to accept this, I don't think they should have to. They just want to do what they do, not have creepy stuff of them and/or their friends show up. It is creepy, no matter who it's of, or by.

e: As far as celebs: Who cares?
This topic is strange, I don't think it's that deep or even much of a dilemma.

I personally never get any pleasure from those things or like those types of drawings. Quite frankly, I think extreme porn is a waste of talent, and I've definitely done a lewd drawing or two in my day, but that's not the only thing I focus on.

I guess I'm a hypocrite about celebrity likenesses too since my character Maia was DEFINITELY NEYMAR JR.(I don't even like sports, why I am I obsessed with him?)

And Maia's super sexual and free with his body so there were gonna be quite some lewd scenes involving him. I chose to change the way Maia looks for that reason though (legal reasons too about using someone's likeness?), the urges to inject your fantasies into your first amateur comic are extreme.

and Farad was DEFINITELY ZAYN MALIK (I fucking hate that band with my entire existence. And Zayne Malik can't sing to save his life and his girlfriend GiGi Hadid looks like a bratz doll, but HE'S SO PRETTY LOOK AT HIS EYELASHES <3<3)
God I hate pop culture

Celebrities are nude so often anyways [cough. Rihanna] (thank the gods) that all you have to do is google their sex tapes and get the real thing. Not to mention all the glorious sex scenes they have in movies.
(GAY sex scenes too, Jude Law, Charlie Hunnam, the ENTIRE SENSE8 cast: Miguel Angel Silvestre UUFFFFF baby)

There are soo many fake noodz out there, you know how many exist for Fassbender, James Mccavoy, Gerard Butler, Hugh jackman. All of them suck, they get the subtleties wrong. Boring.

Ever so often, you don't have to settle for fakes though when a Celebrity cant keep it in his pants or keep it off the internet:

(Hey Ricky Wittle, hey daddy I see you. Nice little X-leak you had there <3<3)

don't worry, This is not his nood

HELP ME IT HURTS

Yeah why have cartoons when you can have the real thing. But I'm always one for escapism too so let people do their thang I say.

E: Wait, of a REAL PERSON?! That's definitely creepy. (I mean, I would be flattered in my case. I've had worse images of me from years ago floating around the internet collecting Tumblr notes and instalikes as we speak UGH WTF IS WRONG WITH MY LIFE. )
And actually I have been drawn that way a few times.
But I would NEVER advocate doing that to someone else w/o permission. THat's infringing. That's overstepping. That's gross))

i am a human being who zero people have ever heard of and if i got an email with a photo of myself drawn in a sexual situation, i would definitely be grossed out and disturbed by it and i would have every right to be.

i really don't see how just because you're a person who more people have heard of, you don't have the right to be upset about those kinds of things.

you should assume by DEFAULT that if you draw a pair of youtubers having graphic sexual intercourse, they're going to be weirded out by it. and you shouldn't get to raise a fuss about it if you're called out about it because you kind of deserve it? like if the subject(s) of the drawing are down with it, that's cool, everything's cool, it's fine. but if they're not? what i'm saying is, the eyebrow raising should never be on the subjects for not being down with it. it should always be on you, for having drawn it.

disclaimer: you not being OP or anyone here, but the general you

My two cents...

Fan works are fan works so expect everything and take it with a grain of salt. Though I draw the line at two things which are real people and religion. Celebrities are not the exception because even the famous are people. I will not be anyone else's mom and dictate what they should do, but it is not in me to use real people or faith (even if I do not share that belief) because those have too many feelings attached. You should always get permission to use a real person especially for stuff like that because the risk of getting into big trouble is too great.

I've received interesting replies on both sides and I came to a conclusion, so thanks for the feedback, folks. First a few things to keep in mind.

I know that it's creepy and gross to make R34 of real people, but that doesn't stop me from drawing them, these drawings can't represent these people's lives.

However, what stops me from drawing them is that these people (that I'm not going to mention) are very well-known for censoring things. I've seen these people together and I was like "it would be cute if I made a drawing of them" many months ago. And I'm afraid I blew off a great chance to prove a point when I was going to finish the drawing in the future (I didn't even start it). And that point is double standards on these lewd fanarts, but this is not about double standards -at least not at the moment as I'm writing this. Of course other artists can draw these kinds of drawings of real people if they want. Who am I to say no to them?

And like some people pointed it out, the outcome is gonna be bad and even dangerous if I'm going to this route. Maybe I've could done the drawing months ago, posted anonymously, yeah, but if that's the case it's a matter of time that the outcome will be bad for me if they knew who drew that.

While I decided to not draw anything lewd of real people (thank heavens I didn't draw anything), that still leaves the question about characters on live-action movies. I've seen lewd drawings about many franchises with actors and actresses like the Avengers or Ghostbusters, to put examples. They're characters, of course, but they're actors and actresses too.

What do you think of this?

Shit's weird man.

It's weird enough having people draw hentai of your own characters, now imagine someone drawing hentai of you.

From an objective standpoint though, I don't see anything wrong with it. I mean it's legal (as long as they're legal) and its art, I guess. But still, subjectively, just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

In my opinion, basing the character's appearance off their actor would be a little too close to drawing the actor themself.

I'd feel great if someone makes hentai fanart of my own characters! :D Of course the result won't be the same when someone makes a drawing of me. I get what you're saying, mate.

I actually want this.

edit: If I was famous and, unsolicited, someone drew porn of me (no matter what kind, yes even that kind) I would be so flattered. Like if I was, say, any of the actors in harry potter or other thing that gets porn drawn of it alot it would be all c:/porn/me

I've seen one hell of a great naked Natalie Portman on deviantArt.

It's not hacking into phones and disseminating, and it's not sitting across the street from their houses with binoculars and a box of doughnuts. It's a harmless fantasy.
