Combination of rec thread and game. Try and fill out as many of these as you can, no duplicates, including things from earlier in the thread. (though feel free to note things you really enjoy that already got listed) Skip anything you don't know or don't read.

Something Finished -
Something New -

First Find - (feel free to note if you don't read this anymore)

All Color -
Black and White -

I'll have a go at coming up with a list, but maybe all the entries from now on should include direct links to the comics concerned, to save time for those who want to check the titles out.

Good thought. I will edit mine accordingly.

Something Finished - Achewood
Something New - 32 is pretty new, I guess? I basically never read comics with less than a hundred pages in their archives.

First Find - I don't remember exactly what the first webcomic I read was, but General Protection Fault was pretty early. It's gone in and out of my regular reading list several times... I just took it out again, just this morning even.
Most Recent Find - Out-of-Placers

Kid-friendly - Camp Weedonwantcha
NSFW - Alfie (link is NSFW AF)

All Color - Dicebox
Black and White - can't get much more monochromatic than XKCD

Experimental Tech - Prequel
Traditional Medium - I am like 90% sure Skin Horse still does everything traditionally, but I am absolutely horrible at seeing the difference between traditional and digital. This seriously took me like an hour to find.

Comedy - Nedroid
Romance - Curvy is the least NSFW comic I read that I would count as "romance"
Horror - Dead Winter
Fantasy - Snow by Night
Slice of Life - Between Failures

Also, why no Sci-Fi to go along with Fantasy?

Something Finished - Forest of Humans (this may appear like an ongoing series, but it's a "rerun" so to speak. Korean only, and you need an age-verified Naver account to read it, but if you can read it and you like horror/thrillers, I highly recommend it.)
Something New - Uhhh, looks like all of the ones I'm currently following have been around for a bit. Ark has been recently rebooted, though, if that counts.

First Find - Boy, this must date all the way back to like... 1998? 1997? This was before the term "webcomic" was widely used. I would be surprised if any of them remains online. I don't remember THE first one, but one of the round robin comics on this one artist community were among the first. The one I followed was Mystic Childe, I believe.
Most Recent Find - Arbalest

Kid-friendly - Heroes of Thanatopolis
NSFW - only occasionally NSFW (gore, nudity, sometimes sexual nudity), Unsounded

All Color - Scurry
Black and White - Digger

Experimental Tech - (Interesting use of flash/links/interactivity) I don't really read these. There's that Bongchundong Ghost one which I think everyone's seen already by now... XD
Traditional Medium - Kalburim (Korean)

Comedy - I don't think any of the comics I follow is primarily comedy?
Romance - Alone
Horror - Tales of the Unusual
Fantasy - GOSU
Slice of Life - Tunes of Lycka

Something Finished - What Birds Know
Something New - well, relatively new: A-Ville

First Find - (feel free to note if you don't read this anymore) The Wotch (No longer a regular reader)
Most Recent Find - Dragons and Silk (although not an accidental find because I'd followed over from Scrub Diving, see below)

Kid-friendly - Little Dee
NSFW - Not counting the ones I'm working on, it's a toss-up between Scrub Diving (link goes to front cover) and Alien Hand Syndrome.

All Color - DnA
Black and White - Delia

Experimental Tech - (Interesting use of flash/links/interactivity) - n/a
Traditional Medium - (all hand drawn/painted, then scanned in) This is a tough category because it's really hard to tell. The only one I know for sure is Prague Race, and that's a duplicate so doesn't count. It's also on hiatus as I write.

Comedy - Dawn of Time
Romance - n/a
Horror - n/a
Fantasy - Rogues of Clwyd-Rhan
Slice of Life - Breaking Cat News

What gave you the most trouble? - Apart from Traditional Medium, probably Comedy.

...so has this thread died on its feet, or is everybody just taking their time to think about it?...

Something Finished - The Perfect Pest
Something New - The War of the Hamster

First Find - (feel free to note if you don't read this anymore) Twokinds was the first webcomic I read. Not going to link it, because I find it very problematic now.
Most Recent Find - The Middle Age

Kid-friendly - Cryptida
NSFW - I don't really read much NSFW stuff... Bunny: Gore justice? For violence?

All Color - Raining Knives
Black and White - The Art of Monsters

Experimental Tech - (Interesting use of flash/links/interactivity) I don't follow any like this ^_^'
Traditional Medium - (all hand drawn/painted, then scanned in) Olena

Comedy - King Martha
Romance - Alfdis and Gunnora
Horror - Comedy of the Carrion Angels
Fantasy - Serpents of Old
Slice of Life - Waste of Time

What gave you the most trouble?

Experimental tech, definitely. I guess when it comes to comics, I just tend to want to read an ordinary comic.
