This is probably a dumb question: but what would happen if I copy/past many Java files I to a create a Webcomic Page? Would it automatically decipher everything? Or would it all be the exact same text it was?

(In case you're wondering: it's NOT a virus! It's simply profile data from Miiverse, I uploaded it from Nintendo when they were trying to let everybody keep their posts/drawings. I have no other way to decipher it myself, this is probably my best bet at seeing any of my files...)

i'm not 100% sure i understand the question, but uploading things to comicfury won't change the format of those files

Um, I might've explained this badly, just to be sure:

If I upload the script for the embedded pictures inside the webpage creator, only the coding would show? I won't be able to see the files this way?

If you're asking if you upload an image to your extra files so you can access it to appear as an image on your page the answer is yes.

Whether or not your code is correct so that it actually appears is a different question.

Awesome! Nintendo coded this, so it should show up correctly!

ComicFury doesn't permit uploads of .java files and it wouldn't be much use if it did - not only is uncompiled Java source not executable, browser support for applets is limited to older versions of Internet Explorer.

If you mean Javascript - that is, .js - files, then you can upload them, but there's absolutely no guarantee they'll work correctly on any given layout, or that you won't be missing dependencies. Furthermore, the file paths will almost certainly be different, since CF puts all layout files under /files/ .

You'd get more helpful answers if you'd say what you're trying to accomplish. Keep in mind that no one here has the same context you do, since you're the one trying to do whatever it is you're doing.

Truth is: I'm not sure how to explain it, so... I'll show you:
( It took me forever to find this!)

well this appears to be data of posts you've made or something along those lines, but this data by itself does not contain any images you'll be able to decipher out of it, if anything it's meta data (i.e. data about the images, but not the images themselves)

That looks like a JSON that can only be imported back into the place you exported it from.
Typically, when you have the option to do this, it's for transferring data between people, accounts or instances of the same software. You won't be able to do anything with that on an external website.

If you want to host content from somewhere else, you could look into iframes.

Thanks for the info: If possible, I'll find the other files and go to iframes.

I really wanted a "Archive" comic for my Miiverse posts, which is why I hoped uploading here would immediately reveal the comics I did there. I hope everything makes it out completely...
