MK_Wizard:To bask in the joy of creating and sharing that joy with others. That and to maybe make an impression on people with the deep messages my writing has.
Whoah, man, me too. I wanna touch people with beautiful messages, relatable characters, and truth. I want to entertain people but I also want the comic to be very real, not sappy or just funny. I wanna help people. ;)
On a more practical note, webcomics are a way to get the stories out of my system until I become a professional animator. Then it's on to making a cartoon series!!
darthfurby:What do you hope to accomplish as a result of making webcomics?
...but falling short of that, simply getting the 'head' stories onto pages where I can see them, tangibly.
As others stated above, hopefully others would like them as well. But #1 was keeping myself entertained.
As a preface, I don't art. I simply write.
Writing a webcomic quiets some of the hundreds of voices continually chatting at me about their interactions with each other.
What I hope to accomplish is a sort of winnowing of those stories.
