Some words just sound nice and you want to use them a lot. Other words you hear for the first time in a while and they just make you laugh.

Some Irish guy described his housemate as an absolute reprobate. and that made me laugh so hard. It just struck me as such a derisive and antiquated way to be derogatory and I love it. I'm going to call everyone absolute reprobates from now on.

another good one is zeitgeist. :)

Well, there are several that I love because they make me feel happy when I say them;

- Love
- Happy
- Fascinating
- Yummy
- Hey
- Sweet
- Gold

Ok, I think the list is getting to long.

I like Zeitgeist too haha
"Juxtapose" such a fun word to say when you want to sound smart when comparing things.
My mom says "Gila" a lot when at work, indonesian for "crazy" always had a nice ring haha.
"Oblivion" sounds so metal "Singularity" is cool too. "ignoramus" for top mild insult that sounds funny

-Baboon

-Rinky-dink

-Zeitgeist, yes I like that word too

-The word "stupid," but it's pronounced "STOOpid"

-Apeshit

I feel like I can picture the kind of person you are in so much more detail knowing this. These are not words that have a special appeal to me but there's a certain unifying theme isn't there?

Do you like words like boost, zinger and wowzer?

Bear too. The theme is like a window into your psyche.

An asymmetric, thermodynamic window.

Anything I call my dog. And anything with lots of s's. And words with a nice swing. Calypso. Swish.

Based on my usage, calling things "wild"

I really appreciate the UK "gutted" for heartbroken/distressed. We need to carry that over to the US because it's just... such a wonderful, raw way of referring to that feeling.

Most swear words, but especially the fuck-word.

Hahahah, I wouldn’t say it like “wowzer,” but for some reason I like using extremely infantilized words in an ironic way because I think they’re funny in a stupid way. I also think that deliberately misspelling words and using bad grammar on purpose is the funniest thing in the world.

I like the phrase “Wowie Zowie,” and we can thank Frank Zappa for introducing me to it.

But I also like words like....

Mycelium
Heterochromia
Myopia
Gynandromorphy
Superliminal
Psychonaut
Transdimensional

I tend to gravitate towards technobabble words. I’ll be the first person to tell you that I’m sort of crazy.

Lobo always sounded cool, heck that's pretty much the majority of Spanish words.
Cabrón, venga, lucha, chico, I could go on and on...

I like words that sound exactly like what they are; "gunk" and "blob" and plenty of others that aren't coming to mind right now but which I'll probably edit in later.

I like the word zeitgeist so much I was going to have it as the name as a character in Infero...the guy would have to be some immortal spirit who was attuned to the temperament of the times, making him permanently appear as the young, trendy person of the age.

So this made me think that in the 70's he'd look really disco with Jess' dad, having flares and an afro. The reason I decided not to bother with the character was that I realised that now he'd be a millenial hipster with his top button done up, ironic facial hair and a man bun.

I like "hobnob" and "kerfuffle". Fun words for sure. I also use the word "nifty" a lot. It's a nifty word.

Fiend is a nice one, and it has room to apply it to other words like coke-fiend.

70% of the words I like are ones I like using as insults apparently.

Susurrus- a whispering or rustling. I like it because it sounds just like walking through fall leaves.

Verisimilitude- the appearance of being true or real. Fun word to use to describe realism yet sound really snotty about it.

Lackadaisy, is such a fun word and you can sort of infer what it means by the sound. Also adorably old-fashioned.
