So, my new factory job- it pays better, but is more physically exhausting. And I think my All Dark U experiment is failing, due to being too genre confused.
I want to keep doing art, because its the thing I'm best at. But so far, my online art career has been comics, attempts at nature drawings, attempts at political satire, dead end card game projects, and fanart of every other thing that exists! I just could never stick with only one fandom, and I always entered fandoms late anyway...
So, I'm going to reboot Obscuria, probably under the name "Hobo Horde", even if the superhero bubble has burst. Maybe I'll start up a fresh new Deviantart account that's only Hobo Horde works, and maybe a monthly comic fanart. And maybe a few nature drawings, and then that's it! Keep it simple this time. I used to be proud of being able to emulate other people's styles, but I should just focus on perfecting my own. I'd love to see what other art sites I could use, I did not like how tumblr or Newgrounds was set up, too hard to navigate.

I remember reading this a while back, and I just flipped through the new stuff. I don't think genre is the problem, you've got a werewolf, a serial killer in haunted woods, the only odd one out is the video game chick but you could also pass that off as a strange curse.
Anything I say from here on would only be how I would do it differently...
1. I think you don't let each situation unfold enough. Werewolf lady stalking the guy and trying to do nice things but messing it up. Video game lady being seductive and competing with werewolf lady. These could happen over a chapter each and also give us time to learn each ladies personality, werewolf lady is a clingy clutz, video game lady is lazy and horny.
2. Consequences. The dude loses his girlfriend and nobody really cares? Do people die from supernaturals a lot? Establish the world more so the reader isn't left thinking 'holy shit, what about the dead chick?' If you're going after horror movie tropes for example perhaps you could start the story with some sort of Final Destination parody showing the girlfriend getting her death predicted and her brushing it off 'sharlene was predicted to die two months ago and she's still here as a ghost haunting my ass' but her family already planning her funeral.
