As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I'm thinking of hosting an exchange in July, so this thread is to gauge interest.

In terms of theme, I'm leaning towards FuryCon 2, as a follow-up to last year's convention themed exchange. But if a more traditional summer exchange would be preferable, or there are any other popular ideas, I'm open to them.

Also, would people prefer I wait until the Furovision Song Contest is finished before signups open?

Let me know your thoughts.

I am certainly not going to offer anything myself here again, but I might join another crossover exchange if it is a topic that is of interest to me.

I really liked the Halloween mystery and the Christmas show. Having the crazy story at the beginning with all the submitted characters has really elevated the exchanges in my view.

I enjoyed being a part of those too. I'm not sure if I feel capable of setting one up myself, but I wouldn't say no if anyone wanted to run one alongside an exchange, or as a separate project.

...But how much will FuryCon 2019 tickets cost?
Can my cosplay use real guns?
What panels are being held?

...I messed up one of those questions.

Anyways, I already have an idea for Furycon 2019, should we go ahead with that.

Sounds good to me - although I would agree that, yes, you should definitely wait for the Furovision event to go live before you kick off anything new.....

Jammy has July 8th as the day points going up for Furovision (with the final results later.) Just after that would be a good time to open signups.

I'm browsing the first FuryCon posts and definitely would like to participate in FuryCon 2. :-)

So it looks like we'll be going for FuryCon 2019 for the next exchange. Look out for signups sometime after 8th July

I would like to take part in something with one of my comics. It's been a while. Right now, I've got two weeks off so a quick crossover especially of the kind where participants only draw in the characters, would be fun (though ones that would be more work for me would be fine too if the deadline is generous).

Depending on deadlines, I may be interested :3 I've been getting a bit back logged and need to try to build up my buffer again, though.

Further question, if our characters are going to be cosplaying, should we share the costume during signups?

what does furycon entail? Do you have your character(s) cosplay as other characters?

It's a crossover exchange with a convention theme. The first (and most recent one) can be viewed here, though I wasn't around the site to partake in it - characters held panels, looked for collectibles, dressed up as other characters (ComicFury related and not) and generally had a fun time.
