Besides the obvious being art prints and books, I was think of other merchandise ideas that are affordable, but fun. I was thinking stickers and maybe even a colouring book. I was thinking of going in the kid friendly direction because my comic is cartoonish.

What other affordable things I can do?

I did have a cup idea for the future. A mug that is Jekyll, but when you fill it with something hot, it switches to Hyde.

T-shirts.

I wonder if kids still like cartoon lunch boxes. My grandma gave me a Scooby Doo lunch box, but I got mad one day, about something my teacher did, and smashed it. Grandma was so disappointed in me. :(

I never got another lunch box.

I don't know about costs- but have you tried redbubble?

You can sell notebooks, phone cases, pencil cases, onesies, etc.

The way I see it, prime Webcomic Merch are:
-Collections (mentioned)
-Prints (Mentioned)
-Drinkware (Mentioned)
-T-Shirts
-Stickers/Magnets
-PLUSHIES XD

And that's about it, though there have been other things! Tabletop games, for instance.

Axe cop even got Action Figures and a Rubie's Halloween costume. Now, I'm not saying Hyde won't make an awesome costume, but, even the Axe Cop costume seems like a huge financial risk. And that sounds condescending as hell.

For Jekyll and Hyde, I'd say T-Shirts, Stickers, and plush toys of Hyde and Stevenson (maybe Robert).

EDIT Forgot calendars. Probably because I've never been good at consistently marking them.

Sticker Mule is always doing sweet deals. I ordered 10 3X3 die cut stickers for $1 with shipping included. I even got 2 extra. I think they just had a deal on bumper stickers but keep an eye on them and you can grab some nice cheap merch from them.

Yes, and yes.

I wonder if you could produce a shirt that changes color in the sun, revealing Hyde as Jekyll's shadow?

Or a Glow in the Dark shirt that has the same effect in the dark. That'd be cool.

Jekyll/Hyde coins or poker chips--flip 'em to decide whether to go tactfully through the front door or violently through the wall!

When I did my Christmas-themed comic I also made Christmas cards! Bit hard to sell them this time of year, though ;D
I've also had a bit of success with iridescent pin badges of my jellyfish aliens!
