The Accidental Ninja:*wheezes* I f-finished the page in time......
COVID may have me unemployed right now, but i've been putting out pages like I never have before and it feels good. by god if i'm gonna be sitting around at home i might as well get some meaningful work done
*puts ice bags over her sore eyes and crawls to bed*
Since I'm on a writing bender, I've scripted a test page for yet another new comic that I've been developing on the side. I will need to do a rewrite on it, but the idea has form. I also brainstormed another test sequence that could serve as a shorter prologue for a longer story for that same comic. That one will get fully scripted by the weekend if I'm keeping up this pace.
I've continued to make frequent character art for both that comic and Tess Durban and reestablished contact with an old friend who is a pretty good concept artist. Friend immediately started adding background ideas and visualizations to the art I sent him. There may be a collaboration coming out of that.
Getting Back into the whole production mentality is weird after not being in the groove for a while. I undervalued the mantra of 'finished, not perfect' there for a bit so it's nice/strange to get back at it.
I do have to draw a horse next page though which I'm less happy about but oh well.
Didn't get around to much else tho inked exactly one speech bubble outline. But I think I finally got the lid off the jar of a scene from the next chapter that really had me stumped. I'm gonna plot out the details tomorrow but I feel way better about it bc now the character responds to something in a way that makes way more sense given their background
It's not gonna get me any closer to being able to update on the 21st but it's something!
