Well I work for a living, so when I'm not doing me regular job, I do the comic. Most times, the weekend is the time I get most my work done. Well this weekend, I fixed three holes in a roof. That's what I got done. ;) Hopefully back to some productive art tonight.
The next scene is kind of off-script and unplanned, so I whipped up a short script for it today. Now I just gotta get this page drawn before Thursday, ahaha...
(also this scene features some monsters and characters that I do not have reference sheets for yet....)
...This chapter just keeps expanding. It was supposed to be, like, half the length it's gonna end up being....
Made a draft page and another colored page of a client project, and finished inking a MashStache page. Also got a halloween special ready way ahead of schedule. Whoo! Maybe it's time to give myself a short break.
Moar written scripting, some experimental art to try out formats and techniques (traditional or digital? And if digital, Procreate or Affinity Photo?) and styles.
At this point, I must start taking seriously the possibility that I don't enjoy thumbnailing enough to do a massive batch of it. I do know that when I'm on a roll, I can do it almost as fast as I've been doing the typed scripts lately.
Finished the inking of page 9 and started to work on the coloring. Decided to try going full digital. I'm only working on the flats at the moment, so I have yet to go into cringe mode where I hate everything I'm doing. Keeping my fingers crossed for things to stay that way once I get to the shading phase XD
Got one panel inked.
Earlier me thought that trying to draw the inside of a hole in the ground would be a quick and easy thing.
Earlier me was mistaken.
(I have to draw this hole three more times ghaaaa)
