Well, this is a fine how-do-ya-don't!
So, here in Washington State, the Governor has apparently decreed that restaurants and other public gathering places be shut down, or cut back.
This includes my favorite coffee shop. My happy place. The place where my art mojo flows the most freely.
Mind you, I am already kind of a shut in, what with the prosthetic leg and the general misanthropy. My coffeeshop was about 77% of my out of the house/social life.
Now, they've cut their hours and when they ARE open, it's for take-out only.
My tiny, cluttered apartment isn't conducive to much artistic production.
As far as that goes, I have reached the end of my buffer for Meddlesome. I have a couple of strips done, but, I accidently skipped one or two. I am endeavoring to get them done, but, anger, annoyance and cabin fever are making it difficult.
So, until all this CoronaVirus Quarantine "Social Distancing" (whateverthefuckTHATmeans) nonsense is done, I am going to cut Meddlesome back to posting once, maybe twice a week until I get to the end of this chapter. After that, we'll see what happens with the comic, my art in general and this prospective pandemic Apocalypse.
If things go well (*pause for other shoe to drop*), The next page should be up by late Wednesday or early Thursday.
Well, as read in the previous post, my art mojo is low, right now.
Still, I got the next page done, finally, and having already completed the two after that, Meddlesome is back on track until Tuesday.
I'm working on the pages after that.
