HEY AMERICAN FRIENDS

Remember to vote when it comes time for your state to cast its ballots!

Here's a site that will help you find a polling place near you!

If you need an absentee ballot, check this page out!

You can check your registration status here!

Here is a list of primary dates by state!

Mark it on your calendar, put a reminder alarm on your phone, whatever it takes to get you out there. Happy voting!

My state votes on the 10th. I'll be at the polls, as I always am, for every single election. Don't just vote in "big" elections. Vote in EVERY election- president down to city council. It's especially important to vote in local elections and for local issues, because A.) this will have the biggest impact on your daily life and B.) many don't vote in local elections, so your opinions and vote mean more and carry more weight. Whatever your beliefs or political stripe, take a little time to learn about the candidates and issues and vote.

My state doesn’t vote until the 17th, but I filed to receive an absentee ballot just in case I can’t be at the polls this year. It’s very easy. Check out early voting in your area, too.

I voted a few hours ago. I'm on the tail end of a flu (no, it's not coronavirus, just a regular flu or maybe just a bad cold), so I thought about staying home to avoid spreading it, but I figured this was important enough to risk it. Took sensible precautions - went at an off-peak time (literally the only voter there), dosed up on cough suppressant, used alcohol-based hand sanitizer immediately before entry, and kept a few extra feet of distance from everyone.

Yep, good call! Sanitizing your hands before and after voting is a great way to protect yourself and others!

Also added an absentee ballot link to the OP!

I'n not in the US but I read something on twiter one time that applies regardless or where you live (unless voting is compulsory)

'You can't complain if you didn't vote'

and those are strong words to live by.

Well, you can complain, but it’s from a place of reduced credibility.

Great thread Taily!
