Sooo....I've always wanted to do an art fight, but never got the chance. So, maybe we could do a Pokèmon themed one? If you are interested in doing or joining it, please comment below to say you are joining in! Anyone can join at any time, as long as you like Pokèmon! ^^ Also, you can choose whatever medium you like for your pictures!

What is an art fight? Well....an art fight is a friendly game/competition of sorts between two teams, which the participants will randomly be assigned to. Players receive points by "attacking", or drawing the original ocs' of the players of the other team. The art can be any style or medium you wish! Artists can also "counter attack", by drawing the oc's of the person who attacked them, or pass it on to another member of the opposing team! The Fight typically lasts about a month, and whichever team has the most points at the end of it wins!

I was thinking the points system could possibly be something like this:

Profile sketch- 3

Full-body sketch or colored profile- 10

Full body sketch with background or multiple characters, or colored full body- 15

Full body sketch with multiple characters AND background, or colored full body with multiple characters or background - 25

Colored full body with multiple characters AND background- 50


When posting art, mention who you are attacking, and either post a link or the image in the chat, or preferably both, if you can! ^^

Hi, this is a fun idea, I think it would help a bit if you explain what art fights are and how they work! Not everyone may be familiar with them, and it may help you get more people on board.

Um, yeah I was thinking we could do it in a couple of days, just to give other artists time to join. Tuesday would be the best time, since it's the start of a new month. And for where we could post the art, I was thinking in this thread, or maybe, if you wanted to, in a separate comic made just for the purpose of displaying the art for this fight

I'd love to join! Might be kept up with school but I haven't been arting much lately and this could be great practice. As for a place to post, maybe we could get a discord server so it'd be all neat and make sure everyone sees it?

So, tiny question. What if people don’t know what your OCs are? Like, I like Pokémon and make Pokémon stuff, but I don’t post it here, so there’s not any way for anyone to know who my OCs are. So do we post a few to choose from here, or...?
