I just realized that Angels of the Fallen now has just over 50 subscribers, which is AMAZING! So, inspired by Stilldown's thread about celebrating 400 pages, I wanna celebrate this milestone.

Here's what I had in mind:

I will draw you something!

Specifically, I will do a little contest, and the winner will receive some original art! The winner will be selected via random draw.

Here are some samples of my art, in case you want an idea of what you're getting into:

RULES

1. Comment here with your favorite comic of any medium and what you like about it
2. I will not draw porn :P Sexy stuff is absolutely okay to be requested, but I draw (har-har punny) the line at genitalia.
3. The drawing will be a hand-drawn and signed 9x12 of your choosing. Could be an OC, could be fanart, could be something else. The choice is yours!
4. Deadline for entry is January 31/22
5. Harassment/abuse of myself or any other person on this thread is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
6. The art provided will be for personal use/display purposes only, it is not for resale and is copyright to myself, Jessica F. Tolley.

If I think of anything else that needs to be stated, I will add it here at a later date.

Alright everyone.... GO!

Sounds fun! I'll participate.

My favorite webcomic on here is probably Live Yasha by Sovember (why not promote some awesome people on here) because it has the perfect balance of everything I love: shonen action, comedy, interesting characters, an engaging story, etc. Plus, the art style is really nice and unique. And the story just seems to keep getting better as it goes on.

My favorite comic of all time is Epicurus the Sage by William Messner-Loebs and Sam Keith. A perfect combination of philosophy, history, mythology, and belly-shaking comedy.

This is a hard choice! But I think one of my all time favorite comics is From Dust to Ruination by CiciEnixa.

Things I like about it? Aside from the wonderful use of color and inspiring paneling, I like how well each character is designed, and how they all have their own voice. The story is fantasy, with magic, and a lot of mystery. I want to know where things are going, and I, whether it be through my own inability to predict endings or the skillful weaving of the tale the by the author, have no idea what is going to happen. I love that. Even if I did, the story is deep and rich in mythology. I'm excited to get a chance to relax and finish Chapter 9 (it's been a while, but I always return to read more).

I really like the main characters, too. There's a bit of violence, but that's to be expected in something like this. It's a great comic, and it remains one of my favorites.

It's cool you're doing this @bustylaroo! Whatever you end up creating is going to be amazing!

My favorite comic of all times is probably Matsumoto's Captain Harlock. I just love his worldbuilding, characters and writing style. There's romanticism without excessive sappiness. Besides, it's so much a Space Opera that Matsumoto even lampshaded it releasing a Wagnerian version.
As for webcomics, my favorite is definitely the one most inspired to the above - The Last Human by r-o-o-t-w-o-o-d. Interesting worldbuilding, expressive aliens, a real skill for action scenes and body language, a compelling main character with many layers of mystery.

I thought I'd toss my hat into the ring, why not.

In terms of webcomics, I really enjoy works such as Spazient, Autumn's Fall and Altarion Saga, amongst others, for their art styles that have captivated me from the moment I've laid eyes on them.

As for actual comics/mangas, I'll be that one guy. I'm gonna say it!
