In an age where Gods still play an active role in citizens daily lives even while their people start to let magic fall behind; a young woman is thrown into the turbulent waters of change to reaffirm Their necessity in a rapidly evolving world.
Mounting scientific curiosities and discovery are leading people away from the old ways causing the weaker powered of the Heavenly set to disappear. Mortals of the world are becoming less conductive and magic is falling to a small few who are able to weld it with any effectiveness and keep its power from corrupting them.
Should mortals be cut off from the heavens to keep from warring for power, Should the Gods step in to intervene or bow out and leave mortals in the dark? Can the scarifies needed for equilibrium be made for peace and continuation of the world or are they ultimately destined for destruction?
