About Me
"Genius may have it's limitations, but stupidity is not thus handicapped." - Elbert Hubbard
"Constant practice devoted to one subject often outdoes both intelligence and skill." -Cicero
"Kindness, I've discovered, is everything in life." -Isaac Bashevis Singer
I read comics. Sometimes I comment, sometimes I offer editing advice (mostly for non-native English writers who welcome it), sometimes I just quietly read and enjoy because other people have already said all the good stuff. :)
My interests vary, but I tend to prefer character-driven stories that have at least a little humor in them. I try to offer all of my comments and feedback positively and look for the things I like instead of what I don't like or think could be improved. I read some comics with magnificently detailed and obviously professional quality art (Unsounded, Mindfold), some that are all 3D (Datachasers), some that are stylized or semi-cartoony (Tales of Adventure, Nine Gates), and some that are just talented amateur artists with developing skills and engaging storytelling. I'm of the opinion that storytelling is what you make of it and your passion will shine through so long as you put forth your best effort. Everything is a learning experience, no experience is wasted and courage isn't the absence of fear, but persistence in spite of it.
Feel free to drop me a line if you want to chat or editing advice.
