Serious Engineering
Thirty-odd years after the American-Venezuelan war, teenager Corelle Lowell has found herself in an apparently unrelated nasty spot - spots on her hands, that is. Unable to find help from her friends and relatives, she learns about a medical team who promises free service to everyone who signs up with their little family of sorts.
Things go from strange to downright bizarre for Corelle the further she digs into the inner workings of the company, which proves to be just a tiny part of something far larger than she ever imagined.
After several trials, challenges, grey morals, losses and triumphs, she comes to learn that maybe, just maybe, being the bad guy isn't so bad after all.

The Falling We
Amos Nowell was perfectly happy drowning his personal demons in cheap booze. He thought he's seen all the masks of evil, everything there is to the most wicked of human nature. But now, his estranged sister offered him a job he couldn't easily decline. Job in T.A.U., a research agency set on an atoll erased from any map.
Nowell was deciding the fates of the worst of criminals for years, answering the questions of their sanity and their future. Now they came back and his voice is the one to lead them to the deepest pit of Hell itself.

"While I was walking in a pitted place,
crying aloud against the human race,
letting thoughts ramble here and there apart —
knives singing on the whetstones in my heart —
I saw a cloud descending on my head
in the full noon, a cloud inhabited
by black devils, sharp, humped, inquisitive
as dwarfs. They knew where I was sensitive,
now idling there, and looked me up and down,
as cool delinquents watch a madman clown.
I heard them laugh and snicker blasphemies,
while swapping signs and blinking with their eyes."
Charles Baudelaire, My Beatrice

The Falling We is an action sci-fi with horror aspects, written and drawn by Viktor and Roman Jones. It features rather large cast of characters and explores themes of morality, human wickedness and evil within our souls. Mostly it revolts around the concept of sins as collectively described in majority of religions, independently on area of origin.

What is this world around us, that sometimes feels so hopeless, so full of evil we are scared to even breath?
