I HATE fishing minigames. They're easy and quick to make, but shit to play. They're filler content.
Animal Crossing is the only game where I found fishing Fine. Mainly because there's no leveling, it's not necessary, it's just one more casual little thing you do in the game, it's not a chore. It's nice.
