Forest of Monsters

Starting from Comic #1: CoverTitle
CoverTitle
Good morning, everyone.

This story is a long-time coming, and despite my fears, I'm glad to finally let it see the light of day. After five years and two rewrites, I'm proud to present this original story to you all.
Fair warning, there will be grotesque imagery coming later along, so be advised.
First page will be posted upon the first of October. Until then, I'm here to offer companionship and answer any questions, within reason, for what is to come.

I look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Happy Spooky month everybody! I hope you're all just as excited as I am.
Once again, fair warning in the future for Grotesque imagery later on in the comic. So please read at your own discretion.

Now, unfortunately I completely forgot that I was supposed to be out of town this weekend, so I didn't get much done on the CF side of this, but worry not! I've got it in the works, and it will be taken care of. Evidently comics don't update on the main page unless they have an icon, so I gotta make one of those now too.
Hope to see you all soon! and please enjoy!

The scanner really doesn't do the colours justice, these look amazing in real life.

I was extremely hesitant to adding the white highlights, so I started on this page with just the eye shines on our crow friends. and I loved it so much, I did more and more and more; and by the time I called it done, I kept going "damn...them some good looking birds!"

“My never-ending war with backgrounds continues”
So, this entire comic is drawn traditionally. that means on paper. It's also being coloured and shaded traditionally, too. Which means every little detail that's drawn and coloured is done, quite literally, by hand.

For those that have followed me here from my Pokemon comic PMD:Mitigation, you already know the lengthy issues I've had and continue to have with backgrounds. I hate them with a passion. They are difficult and annoying and extremely particular, regardless of context or simplicity.
Why do I force myself to draw them?
Because they're necessary in a large majority of the frames I put them in. And it helps you, the reader, know where any of our characters are in the space they're drawn in.

Although backgrounds are super annoying, I think the product was well worth it. This view of the town is stunning <3

I love the detail in this! the pattern she's weaving, the trees...it's great!
What character is that in the middle of her name and how do you pronounce it?

I'm really liking the art in this! It's very pretty.
