Welcome all to Starforce Pentacle's (temporary?) new home! You can read more details about the future of this site at the site blog, accessed from the button on top of this page. Suffice to say I still haven't found the ideal presentation for this strip, but I'll keep trying...

Starforce Pentacle is an action-adventure space opera comic about "magick" in the 21st-century, Alan Moore, Aleister Crowley, Austin Osman Spare sense, and you'd be forgiven for having NO IDEA this was the case based on the strip so far. But now that Devil Girl has landed things are going to get real nuts, real fast.

I'm a novice to magic, just like Mary Sue, so my approach here may not always be the slickest, but I'm learning how to be a magician and the goal here is to make the comic my medium for casting spells. Sound nuts? Well, in the world we currently inhabit, why be sane?

I want to give big props to Johnathan "Wyrdweaver" Bell, my esoteric consultant and magical tutor, as well as pal Philip Rice who led me down this road in the first place. Part of the goal is to make this an effectively "interactive" comic--that's the goal of magic anyway, to reach out to others and affect the world. So please, don't hesitate to comment, participate, or share memes and ideas that come out of this comic! Credit the source, of course, but I want this to be considered "open source" as it were.

The next chapter of Starforce Pentacle--all 5 pages at once--will drop on the next full moon. That's June 9th for you Gregorian cats. On the moon in June, which is pretty soon, this loon will give you the boon of a new cartoon.
